GREETING FROM
A FORMER INFLUENCER
I never planned to become a marketer.
For four years, I basked in the spotlight as an influencer.
Then, in 2023, a controversy broke.
I wrote a public apology to make things right, but the words came across as deflecting blame rather than taking responsibility. That single message cost me nearly everything I had built.
What came out read like I was blaming everyone else instead, and it cost me almost everything I had built.
A year of unemployment followed. Every attempt to return was met with criticism rather than a second chance. It was the lowest point of my life.
But it was also the turning point. I stopped performing and started listening, both to myself and to a craft I had long underestimated: marketing. Not the kind built on borrowed attention, but the kind built on words that hold up under scrutiny.
That's how I found copywriting.
Today, I write with an understanding most copywriters only learn the hard way: I know what it feels like to lose an audience's trust, and what it takes to earn it back, one careful word at a time.
It's a lesson my past taught me at a high price, and one I bring to every piece I write.
HIRE ONE, GET THREE
A Performer's Instinct For Attention: Four years in front of an audience taught me what makes people stop scrolling and start reading.
A Marketer's Discipline For Strategy: I don't write pretty sentences for their own sake. Every line has to carry its own weight.
A Survivor's Respect For Credibility: I've seen what happens when trust breaks, so I never write a word I can't stand behind.
